Overview:
We are looking for a passionate general dentist to join our non-profit dental office. Primary job responsibilities:
- Perform General dentistry services for children and adults, including diagnosing and treating diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth, gums, and related oral structures.
- Examine patients to determine the nature of the condition affecting the patient, utilizing X-rays, dental instruments, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Clean, fill, extract, and replace teeth using rotary and hand instruments, dental appliances, medications, and surgical implements.
- Familiar with general dentistry procedures (root canals and crown procedures)
- Provide preventive dental services & education in oral/dental hygiene.
- Supervise office staff, including hygienists, dental assistants, receptionists, and other staff.
- Coordinate laboratory services for the dental office.
- Adheres to the set safety protocols and processes, including but not limited to ensuring protective equipment is utilized & OSHA/Bloodborne pathogen requirements are followed.
- Participate in routine office meetings.
- All other duties and responsibilities are allowed under applicable state laws and regulations.
Educational Requirements:
- Should be licensed to work in New Jersey, with general dentistry as a field of study.
- Should hold a valid Dental New Jersey License
Professional Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the same field is preferred
Expected Salary:
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Job Schedule:
- 8 hour shift (9:00am- 6:00pm)
- 2 days a week as per the candidate's choice
